1997
One Piece
- 01
East Blue
The start
Luffy gathers the first crew. Everything later refers back to these promises.
- 02
Alabasta
Next saga
The first long war of the series. Stay in episode order through it.
- 03
Sky Island
Next saga
Looks like a detour. Later chapters treat it as setup. Do not skip the saga.
- 04
Water 7 and Enies Lobby
Next saga
The emotional center of the early grand line. Watch it before Thriller Bark.
- 05
Thriller Bark, then Marineford
Through the summit war
Thriller Bark, the separation, and the Summit War. This is the end of the first half's argument.
- 06
New World
Fish-Man Island onward
Fish-Man Island, Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island, Wano, Egghead, then the current broadcast — including Elbaf — in numbered order. Episode counts keep moving. Follow the stream's numbers, not a frozen list.
Where to watch legally
Catalogs change by country. Start with a licensed service instead of a pirate stream. Manga, when you want it, belongs on an official app.
Questions, answered
Can I start One Piece at Wano?
You will understand the fights and miss the reasons. Start at East Blue, or read the manga from chapter 1 if the episode count scares you.
Are the movies canon?
Treat them as extras. The TV episode order is the story. A few later specials nod at the films. None of them replace a saga.
