Where to start
A short shelf for a first anime, a dark one, or the next long commitment.
Mystery
Death Note
A finished argument between two extremely sure people. You will know, by episode three, if this medium is for you.
First anime
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
A complete story with a clear moral spine, action, and an ending that the manga actually earned.
Action
Demon Slayer
The cleanest action on-ramp: one sibling promise, fights you can follow, and a watch order that fits on a card.
Action
Jujutsu Kaisen
Modern, funny, and meaner than the jokes suggest. A good second action series if Demon Slayer felt too earnest.
How the mirror scores
Each answer adds weight to a few characters. There is no hidden morality score and no single correct self. The result is the strongest overlap between your choices and a written personality sketch. Ties break by a fixed order so the same answers always return the same name. Sharing a result does not create an account.
Questions, answered
Which anime character am I?
Take the open mirror on the homepage. It compares you with eight leads across One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Naruto, Chainsaw Man, and Death Note. If you already know the series, use that series quiz instead. The result names a closest character and two runners-up.
Are these quizzes accurate?
They are editorial, not scientific. The same answers always give the same result, and the sketch explains why that character was closest. Treat it as a rhyme, then read the other two names if the first one feels slightly off.
What order should I watch a series in?
Use release order unless the guide says a film is a prequel best seen after season one. Recap movies are labeled optional. Kagami does not link to unofficial streams.
Where do birthday dates come from?
From dates widely printed in official character profiles and databooks. If a lead has no published birthday, the profile says so instead of guessing.
Do I need an account?
No. Results stay in the link you share and, if you allow it, in this browser. Trivia best scores are stored only on this device.
Is Kagami available in my language?
Yes. The same pages exist in 30 languages. English lives at the root URL. Every other language has its own path, and each page points to the others with hreflang so search engines can rank the right one.
